A Colt 1851 Model Navy Percussion Revolver With War Department Marks
No. 19621 For 1855

With blued octagonal sighted barrel with London address and stamped War Department mark on the left side, cylinder with roll engraved naval engagement scene (action partly defective), case-hardened frame, steel trigger-guard and back-strap, loading lever, figured rounded grips pierced for a lanyard, the left one stamped with War Department mark, and the bottom flat with Ordnance marks 'E6' and '16', both crowned, matching numbers, and some original finish (some wear and surface rust patination), London proof marks
