A Cased Metropolitan Arms Co. Navy Model Percussion Revolver
No. 1939, Circa 1864-66

With octagonal sighted barrel stamped 'Metropolitan Arms Co. New-York' along the top flat, cylinder originally with roll engraved battle of New Orleans, frame, rammer, brass trigger-guard and back-strap, rounded grips, and matching numbers (worn overall, some rust patination): in relined and refitted case with some accessories including blued Colt's patent bullet mould, the interior of the lid (lock section replaced) with reproduction Directions label, the exterior with shaped brass escutcheon
