A .44 Starr Arms Co. 1863 Model Army Single-Action Percussion Revolver
No. 44878, Circa 1863-65

With hinged sighted barrel, frame stamped 'Starr. Arms. Co. New York.' on one side and 'Starr's Patent Jan. 15. 1856' on the other, serial numbered cylinder, rammer and trigger-guard, barrel-release screw, figured rounded butt (some bruising, small repair), matching numbers, and retaining traces of original blueing (some wear overall)
