A .44 Remington New Army Model Six-Shot Percussion Revolver, And A Continental Copy Of A Colt 1849 Pocket Model Percussion Revolver
The First No. 54137, Circa 1863-87, The Second No. 104668, Late 19th Century

The first with octagonal sighted barrel retaining traces of stamped maker's details and patent dates along the top flat, cylinder, frame (hammer spur repaired) with sighting groove, grip-strap and rammer, brass trigger-guard, and rounded grips (one split and repaired, worn, pitted and acid cleaned overall): in modern lined and fitted case with reproduction 'stand of flags' flask and brass bullet mould; the second of characteristic form, with frame stamped 'Colt's System' on one side, steel trigger-guard and back-strap, figured rounded grips, and matching numbers (worn and patinated overall) (2)
