With twist octagonal sighted barrels each swamped towards the muzzle, rifled with six grooves and signed in full in gold along the top flat, engraved breeches each with dummy-bolster and numbered '1' and '2' in silver respectively, long tangs each incorporating an adjustable back-sight and engraved with scrolling foliage against a stippled ground, signed back-action locks (actions defective) and dolphin hammers en suite, figured half-stocks with fluted butts, foliate engraved steel mounts comprising shaped side-plates, shaped border engraved butt-caps each formed as a flattened diamond, trigger-guards each with chequered spur, trigger-plates with pineapple-shaped finials, vacant white-metal escutcheons on the fore-ends, set triggers, and no provision for ramrods (steel parts with some pitting overall) (2)
