With octagonal sighted barrel signed in full in silver along the top flat, foliate engraved breech, tang incorporating a back-sight (retaining screw missing), signed foliate scroll engraved lock (hammer repaired, spur missing), figured half-stock (split through at the lock) with fluted butt, steel mounts comprising shaped pommel-plate of stepped diamond-shaped form, foliate scroll engraved spur trigger-guard, trigger-plate with pineapple finial, set trigger, and no provision for a ramrod (steel parts patinated overall)
