A Liège Russian Contract 13-Bore Brunswick Pattern Percussion Military Rifle
By P.J. Malherbe A Liège, No. 592, Circa 1850

With rebrowned twist sighted barrel with bayonet mount on the right side towards the muzzle and rifled for a belted ball, graduated folding adjustable back-sight, plain tang, signed border engraved back-action lock, figured full stock (some bruising), regulation brass mounts comprising spur trigger-guard, hinged patch-box numbered '16730' on the inside, serial numbered butt-plate with crowned double-headed eagle on the tang, escutcheon with crowned cypher of Nicholas I, fore-end cap, sling loops, and original serial numbered ramrod with brass tip
