A 16-Bore New Land Pattern Percussion Service Pistol
Early 19th Century

Converted from flintlock, with plain barrel and tang, flat lock with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the engraved tail, figured full stock (bruised, chipped and repaired behind the lock) with raised apron around the barrel tang and stamped with dated Ordnance Storekeeper's mark behind, and regulation brass mounts including butt-cap stamped '1814. I 70' on one side (some wear overall, steel parts pitted, stirrup ramrod missing), King's proof marks
