A French 14-Bore Model AN IX Flintlock Military Pistol
Dated 1807

With plain barrel dated at the breech and retained by a single brass barrel band linked to the side-plate, tang with extension to the pommel, flat bevelled lock etched 'Maubeuge Manuf. Imp.' and with brass pan, figured half-stock with rounded butt, and regulation brass mounts including pommel of bird's head form (ramrod missing, some wear and rust patination)
