Of bronze, tapering towards the muzzle and formed in five sections divided by roped and petalled mouldings, polygonal over most of its length with off-set central section, rounded muzzle with integral fore-sight, short rectangular breech with punched and incised decoration, slotted standing back-sight, integral pan on one side (cover missing), the underside with two pierced lugs for a full stock, and centrally mounted shaped triangular recoil stop pierced with a circular hole
