With broad double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, long rectangular ricasso with two short upturned pointed side-lugs and deeply struck with two star marks on each side, the hilt with straight quillons each with three curved pointed lugs and downbent scrolled 'fish-tail' terminals, large concentric side-rings, rounded pommel with fluted upper half (button replaced), and leather-covered wooden grip with turned moulding at the centre and red tassel at the bottom (in refurbished condition)
