A Medieval Sword
Late 13th/Early 14th Century

In excavated condition, with broad straight double-edged blade with central fuller along each face of the forte with faint crosier-shaped mark (?) on one side and latten-filled orb and cross mark on the other, straight quillons of octagonal section, flat tapering tang, and flat disc pommel with chamfered edges
