With tapering blade of flattened hexagonal section incised with latten-filled running wolf mark within the fuller on both sides of the forte, rectangular ricasso with incised line borders, iron border engraved hilt of flattened bars comprising horizontally recurved quillons with scrolled bifurcated tips, large side-ring interrupted centrally with a quartrefoil against scrollwork, smaller side-ring en suite below and linking the tips of the arms on the outside, and bifurcated bar forming a guard on the inside, compressed globular pommel chiselled with a trefoil on each flat, and chevroned grip bound with twisted steel wire
