With tapering blade (worn) double-edged at the point and fullered over its entire length on each side, iron hilt (some pitting) comprising guard of rounded bars forming oval panels, one left open for the reins, framing shaped double crosses, short flat rear quillon, fore-guard pierced with a heart and secured by screws, bun-shaped pommel with prominent button, fishskin-covered grip bound with twisted copper wire, and remains of original leather liner faced with red woollen cloth (damaged)
