With blackened tapering blade double-edged towards the point and fullered over its entire length on each side with a narrow fuller bordering it along the back, blackened iron guard of rounded bars framing fretted incised panels pierced with circles and hearts, and with an oval aperture for the reins, fore-guards, short scrolled wrist-guard, later compressed rounded pommel, and wooden grip wrapped with fishskin (incomplete) bound with copper wire
