With tapering flattened blade cut with three long fullers over most of its length on each side, each of the fullers stamped with a series of 'X' marks and 'Andrea Ferara' within the central fuller on each side of the forte, iron guard of slender bars involving an 'S' on each side (perhaps for Sterling) and framing fretted incised panels pierced with circular holes and stylised hearts, fore-guards, small scrolled wrist-guard, flattened conical pommel incised with triple lines, and associated spirally-grooved wooden grip (some wear and rust patination overall)
