With sharply tapering blade of hollow triangular section etched with scrolling foliage and a trophy of arms along one side of the forte, and along the other with cabbalistic symbols, foliage inhabited by a bird and a Russian inscription, perhaps the owner's name, highly polished hilt decorated with bright-cut decoration within borders of twisted silver wire and comprising oval shell-guard applied on the inside with a shaped bright-cut oval set with steel beads, straight quillons with pointed diamond-shaped tips, double knuckle-chain of pierced ovals links, urn-shaped pommel, and grip bound with copper wire and ribbon, in its black leather-covered scabbard with linear engraved bright steel locket and chape, the former with bright-cut frog-button
