The first with finely watered single-edged blade of stiff triangular section, hilt comprising basal mounts and grip chiselled with shaped panels of Arabic calligraphy, and ivory grip-scales of plano-convex section (some wear overall), in wooden scabbard covered in green velvet with pierced gilt-copper chape; the second with watered single-edged blade, and tapering steel hilt of circular section retaining traces of gold-damascened decoration, in original wooden scabbard covered in blue velvet (worn) with border engraved silver locket and deep chape, the latter with foliate finial; the last with watered single-edged blade damascened in gold with Arabic calligraphy and foliage at the forte and on faceted basal mount, gold-damascened hilt, and walrus-ivory grip-scales of plano-convex section, in leather-covered wooden scabbard (3)
