With sighted barrel retained by six pierced foliate engraved silver bands and decorated at the slightly bulbous faceted muzzle, mid-section and breech with silver panels engraved with designs of foliage, the panels at the mid-section and breech raised and against a chiselled foliate ground, one of the former with maker's stamp, silver-covered tang and characteristic lock (top jaw and screw missing) decorated with engraved foliage, three-quarter length hardwood stock (fore-end damaged along the top on one side) profusely inlaid with fine silverwire foliage over the butt within silver zigzag wire and pin borders, brass trigger-guard, iron butt-plate decorated with designs of concentric circles filled with red and green pigment along the bottom, and wooden ramrod
