Three Javanese Kris

The first with waved pattern-welded blade with double fuller forming a medial ridge on each side of the forte, and carved wooden planar hilt with silver mendaq, in wooden scabbard with figured characteristic sarongan and brass pendoq, the latter with a gilt-metal panel along the outside embossed, pierced and chased with foliage inhabited by pairs of peacocks; the second with waved blade pierced and chiselled along each side with brass-covered foliage, the forte chiselled with a dragon and fox beneath the foliate gandja, the dragon's tail forming the dada on each side, and carved wooden planar hilt (repaired), in wooden scabbard with sarongan and plain brass pendoq; the last of similar form, the blade chiselled with a fox beneath the foliate gandja, in wooden scabbard with plain brass pendoq (sarongan chipped) (3)
