With curved blade (areas of pitting) double-edged towards the point, the forte on one side retaining traces of watering and inlaid in brass with three shaped and two oval cartouches each containing pseudo-Arabic inscriptions, cast and chased hilt comprising faceted quillons of unequal length with scallop-shell terminals, quillon-block decorated with a seated figure against a stippled ground on one side, and with a martial trophy on the other, and tapering grip of oval section rising to a shell-shaped pommel and decorated with rococo ornament against a stippled ground on each side framing a hunting trophy on one side, and a martial trophy on the other
