An Unusual Indian Pesh-Kabz With Calligraphic Hilt

With distinctly watered sharply tapering blade reinforced along the back edge, hilt decorated overall with damascened gold foliage and finely pierced to form the word Nasir (for Helper, one of the names of God), in wooden scabbard covered in maroon velvet with steel locket and chape gold-damascened en suite with the hilt, the former with ring for suspension
