A Caucasian Kindjal, A Large Folding Knife, And Two Modern Jambiyas
The First Late 19th Century

The first with sharply tapering double-edged blade cut with an off-set fuller on each side, the hilt and wood-lined scabbard (minor damage) entirely covered in nielloed silver embossed and chased on the outside with scrolling foliage against a stippled ground, the inner sides nielloed with foliage; the second with bright blade cusped and diagonally notched along the top, etched with an Alpine sportsman in a landscape on one side, and signed 'Malteucci Gianni' on the other, and natural staghorn grip with tapering spirally fluted spring-catch along the back; the last each of cast nickel-plated brass (4)
