With heavy rebrowned twist octagonal barrels each with silver fore-sight and stamped 'Twisted Stubbs' beneath the breech, case-hardened breeches each with platinum line between thin gold lines, platinum-lined touch-holes, tangs each incorporating a back-sight and engraved with a martial trophy and foliage, engraved flat bevelled detented locks each signed on a gold oval and with engraved safety-catch, 'French' cock, rainproof pan and roller, figured half-stocks (some bruising), chequered rounded butts each with characteristic spur and flat ovoidal pommel, the latter each with vacant silver escutcheon, engraved blued steel mounts including D-shaped trigger-guards each with foliate finial and decorated with a martial trophy and foliage within foliate borders on the bow, horn fore-end caps, vacant shield-shaped silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, set triggers, horn fore-end caps, original brass-tipped ramrods, and some original finish (minor areas of surface rust): in original lined and fitted brass-mounted mahogany case (partitions loose) with some accessories including red leather-covered three-way flask (some damage), the exterior of the lid with oval brass escutcheon with fluted knurled border and flush-fitting carrying handle, Tower private proof marks
