Unsigned, Koto

The hira-zukuri blade with one mekugi-ana, suguha hamon, itame-masame hada (some small chips and kizu), the samé tsuka with shakudo fuchi-kashira chiselled with tendrils and applied with gold Kiri-mon, the menuki in the form of shakudo and gold triple Tokugawa-mon, and small gilt tsuba, in its rich gold nashiji lacquered saya decorated with two gold lacquered butterflies, the shakudo nanako mounts comprising kurikata, soritsuna and kojiri decorated in gold with Tokugawa-mon and fitted with kodzuka and kogai decorated en suite, in a silk bag and white-wood box, the koshirae in fine condition
