A Rare .36 Manhattan (Navy Type) Series 1 Single-Action Percussion Revolver
No. 482, Circa 1859

With octagonal sighted barrel stamped 'Manhattan Fire Arms Mfg. Co. New York.' along the top flat, cylinder with trapezoidal-shaped cylinder stop slots and oval foliate panels roll engraved with military and naval scenes, brass trigger-guard and grip-strap retaining some original silvering, varnish figured rounded grips, matching numbers, and traces of original finish
12.7 cm. barrel

Footnotes

The trapezoidal-shaped cylinder stop slots and thicker grips are only found on revolvers below serial range 800
