With broad flat double-edged rebated blade with short central fuller on each face of the forte incised 'Iohannes Wundes' between deeply struck King's head marks on one side, a latten-filled running wolf mark beyond, and 'Vim Vire Pellere Lecit' on the other, a latten-filled orb and cross mark (latten partly missing) and King's head mark beyond, iron hilt comprising straight swelling quillons of octagonal section, octagonal fig-shaped pommel, and wooden grip bound with twisted steel wire
