The first with tapering blade (pitted overall) of flattened hexagonal section with slipped piercings and small holes within the fuller on each side of the forte, hilt cast with grotesque masks and foliage against a stippled ground, comprising double shell-guard, arms, quillons with recurved tips, knuckle-guard, globular pommel, and grip bound with copper ribbon and twisted brass wire; the second with tapering blade (pitted) of flattened diamond section, characteristic brass hilt cast and chased with masks amid foliage against stippled grounds, and wooden grip bound with copper wire (partly replaced, worn overall) (2)
