With curved fullered blade (worn, some pitting, cutting edge nicked) double-edge towards the point and etched and gilt with a trophy of arms and foliage originally against a blued ground on one side of the forte, and with foliage, a trophy of arms and 'Warranted' within a foliated banner on the other, gilt-copper stirrup hilt with langets each cast and chased with a bearded male face with bullrushes for hair, probably representing a river god, lion-mask pommel with faceted back-strap, and swelling chequered ivory grip (minor splits and chips), in original black leather scabbard (worn and crazed) with shaped linear engraved gilt-copper mounts with two suspension rings (gilding worn overall)
