The first with slightly curved fullered blade double-edged towards the point and etched over each face of the forte with a trophy of arms, stars, a sun-in-splendour and a man-in-the-moon, gilt-copper hilt with waved side-guard enclosing a pierced heart, large rear quillon, faceted knuckle-guard, cushion-shaped pommel with button finial, and reeded ivory grip; the second with curved fullered blade (pitted overall), brass hilt similar to the last with side-guard, lion-head pommel and back-piece in one, and ribbed wooden grip (chipped) with later wire binding (2)
