An early 19th century mahogany banded oak longcase clock

G. Pritchard, Birmingham, the falseplate stamped Kempson & Felton
swan neck pediment centred by an eagle and bell finial over freestanding reeded columns with brass capitals and bases over a pointed arched door flanked by quarter columns to a base with canted corners and applied panel, the 12 inch arched painted dial with moonphase and age over the rolling moon decorated with a fighting ship and portrait of Lord Nelson, the movement with four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell 88in(223cm)high
