brass tip ferrule, oak stick with embossed copper head, impressed with three panels: a portrait of Lord Nelson inscribed "Born Sept.1768, Died Oct. 1805", a portrait of the ship inscribed "Foudroyant Nelson's Flagship, commenced 1787, launched 1798, wrecked Blackpool 1897", a shield inscribed "oak and copper from vessel after breaking up".
