A large, thick cabochon of triangular outline with bright green botryoidal malachite formations visible in cross-section against a rich azur-blue background. Stated to have been formerly part of the collection of John Barlow of Appleton, Wisconsin, one of the most noted gem and mineral collectors of the 20th Century. Weighing approximately 144.73 and measuring 65.0 x 45.0 x 6.0mm.
