A single large, broad crystal of hexagonal form, with secondary faces near the top, and a much smaller, partial crystal to one side. The color is transparent, sea-blue with good saturation, especially towards the top and the crystal faces are lustrous. One very small cluster of muscovite is visible on the bottom. There is an interesting twinned crystal to the reverse side. An excellent example of a fine-quality aquamarine from this famed region.
