A South Staffordshire enamel snuff box

circa 1770
of rectangular form with a gilt metal mount and hinged cover, the exterior painted with landscapes reserved on a pale yellow ground enamelled in white with a design of diaper and florets, the interior of the cover with a lady playing a keyboard instrument, 8.3cm wide (some cracking)
