A Battersea enamel portrait plaque of the Duke of Cumberland

circa 1755
oval, transfer-printed in puce monochrome by Simon Francis Ravenet with a profile portrait of William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, in a gilt metal frame, 8.7cm length of plaque (a few fine cracks)
