A Royal Worcester vase and cover by Charley Baldwyn

dated 1906
of shield shape on an integral square foot, moulded with scrolled ornament at the neck, applied with scroll and acanthus leaf mask handles, the domed cover with a pointed finial, the pale blue ground finely painted with a group of swans in flight, signed C. Baldwyn, the reverse with a swallow, the mouldings picked out in coral, bronze, ivory and green, the rims gilt, 24cm, printed marks in puce, shape no. 1572 (chip to mask on one handle) (2)
