A Royal Worcester vase and cover by George Owen

dated 1918
of elongated tapering shape with elegant scroll handles, the domed cover with a pointed finial, the foot with an integral square base, entirely pierced with a fine honeycomb interrupted by a more elaborate band of piercing around the centre, the cover, neck and foot with pierced flutes, rows of faux pearls around the rims, all enriched with gilding, 25.2cm, printed factory marks in gold, incised signature 'G Owen', shape 1957 (one handle restored) (2)
