An early Staffordshire lead-glazed figure of a mounted dragoon

circa 1760-80
modelled in full uniform astride his horse, a sword at his side, on a shaped rectangular plinth, coloured in streaked brown, green and ochre glazes, his boots and helmet picked out in black, 24cm (some damage and restoration)
