A garniture of three Coalport vases and covers

circa 1905
comprising a waisted vase flaring to a gadrooned lower section raised on four lion's paw feet, the handles with dog's head thumbrests, and a pair of ovoid vases with ram's head terminals, all richly decorated with turquoise ground panels reserved with finely painted cartouches by Tom Keeling, signed, depicting beautiful girls, the central vase with a three-quarter length portrait of a girl with a basket of chrysanthemums, the pair with half-length portraits turned towards the centre, all in life-like tones with sepia backgrounds, edged with panels and border patterns in raised and tooled gold, the rims and handles also richly gilt, the interiors with a powdered gold effect, centre vase 42cm, inscribed 'Chrysanthemums', pair of vases 40cm, all with printed marks in green (central vase cracked, pair with fine crazing and knops re-stuck) (6)
