An unusual English porcelain shell-encrusted dish

circa 1830
attributed to Chamberlain, formed from an upturned shell supported on a high scroll-moulded base picked out in gold, the interior applied with a variety of shells, corals and seaweed delicately painted in a wide range of bright colours, 14.5cm high (a few minute cracks to the base, one very minor loss to the applied shells only)
