A Flight, Barr and Barr spill vase

circa 1820
of cylindrical form with an everted rim, ring handles and a square plinth, delicately stipple-painted with Cupid in flight against a pale blue sky, wearing a pink drape and carrying a bow, reserved on a pale green ground, a band of applied 'jewels' and an acanthus border below the rim, 7.4cm, script mark referring to Coventry Street address (restored chip to the plinth)
