circa 1820-25
with a cylindrical body and gilded ring handles held in eagle's beaks, the square plinth picked out in gold and bronze, painted on both sides with colourful groups of shells and seaweed, reserved on a blue ground, a band of white 'jewels' applied below the rim, 8.4cm, script mark (minute chip to the tip of one beak, a few fine scratches and some very slight wear)
