of plain tapering form, well painted with a river scene within an octagonal panel, a ruined tower on the far bank and two figures in the foreground, reserved on a dark salmon ground gilt with acanthus leaves, the border gilded with an elaborate neoclassical design, 9cm, inscribed in red script to the base 'A present to Wm Manly Esqr. Manufactured at Messrs Barr, Flight and Barr's Worcester' (fine scratch to painting, slight wear to gilded rim)
