A rare pair of Flight vases and covers

circa 1785
of slender neoclassical form with square plinths and delicate handles, the bodies finely gilded with floral swags and paterae, the crisp moulding on the lower sections, rims and necks picked out in underglaze blue and gold, 18cm high, crescent mark and 'Flight' in blue (one cover cracked with knop restored, the other with knop restuck, one vase with fine crack to the neck) (4)
