Footnotes
Provenance: made for Randle Andrews of Tong Park Farm, and passed down the family by direct descent to the present owner. Tong Park stands about 10 miles from the bridge depicted on this jug. A small number of special Ironbridge jugs are recorded with names or monograms inscribed beneath the lip. A list of these is given in an article about the present jug in the Caughley Society Newsletter, no. 17, March 2004, pp. 25-28
