A Worcester coffee cup

circa 1770
the u-shaped cup with a grooved handle, painted in the workshop of James Giles with an undulating pink scale border edged with gilt scrolls, a colourful mixed fruit and flower spray and two mushrooms below, 6.5cm, crossed swords mark and numeral (shallow rim chip, fine crack)
