A Worcester teacup and saucer painted in the Giles workshop

circa 1770
the interior of the cup and centre of the saucer painted in distinctive style with flower sprays, the borders composed of a continuous leafy stalk undulating about a chocolate brown line, the handle gilded with graduated dots, gilt dentil rims, saucer 12.8cm, cup with crossed swords and numeral 9 mark (2)
