A Worcester coffee cup and saucer painted in the Giles workshop

circa 1770
the u-shaped cup with a grooved handle, with colourful mixed flower sprays and smaller sprigs including a 'divergent tulip' on the saucer, a bleu celeste border around the rim edged with gilt scrolls, 12.2cm diam. of saucer, crossed swords mark and numeral 9 on the saucer
