A Worcester junket dish

circa 1770
of shallow lobed and fluted shape, fully decorated with flower garland panels alternating with narrow blue ground panels reserved with gilt-edged cartouches containing further flowers, the centre painted with three colourful butterflies edged with an underglaze blue ground scalloped border reserved with a running flower pattern, the rims also gilt, 25.3cm, square mark (shallow rim chip)
